According to the company, Banco Santander acted as sole arranger of the credit facility. The project has a long-term environmental attributes purchase agreement (EAPA) with Meta.
The credit facility is designated as green financing under Zelestra’s Green Financing Framework. Validated by DNV and ed by BNP Paribas, the recently updated framework outlines how Zelestra intends to execute financial transactions that qualify as green financing, channel investments into projects that deliver positive environmental impact, and accelerate the transition to a low-carbon economy.
Sybil Milo Cioffi, Zelestra’s CFO for the US, stated: “Closing this financing is an important milestone in continuing to deliver for our clients and strengthening our footprint in the US. The from Banco Santander reflects confidence in our strategy and our team. We are also pleased to have signed the EAPA with Meta—one of six agreements we currently have in place with them across the US. Jasper is leading the execution of key projects nationwide, with over 1 GW of fully contracted projects expected to move into construction over the next two years.”
