The deal includes the supply of over 6,800 trackers for CSF Illa, the largest solar project in Peru and one of the largest in Latin America, located in La Joya, Arequipa.

With a strong track record in the solar industry—particularly in Peru, where it has supplied trackers since 2014—Solar Steel reaffirms its long-term commitment to the country by delivering its latest 1P configuration, a cutting-edge technology that will maximize efficiency and clean energy production. The solar plant is expected to generate 1.2 TWh annually, which represents approximately 2.5% of the country’s total electricity generation.

Solar Steel’s 1P trackers will more than 740,000 high-power modules, optimizing solar capture in one of the highest irradiation regions in the world.

Ernesto Oliver, CEO of Inver Renewable Management, stated: “This agreement marks a major milestone for us, strengthening our commitment to decarbonization and clean energy generation in a country where we’ve operated for over 17 years.” Christopher Atassi, CEO of Solar Steel, added: “At the same time, it’s a key milestone for the country and reinforces the family-driven presence both Enhol and Gonvarri Industries bring to the solar sector. We share common values, and it's rewarding to see them endure over the years.”

Construction of the solar park is already underway and is expected to operate for at least 30 years. Both companies will also local communities through corporate social responsibility programs, with an ambitious plan for social and environmental investment to foster regional development.

The project represents a paradigm shift in the Peruvian electricity market and already holds definitive generation and transmission concessions granted by the Ministry of Energy and Mines of Peru, along with environmental certification, which includes long-term social and environmental commitments.
