Intersolar Europe 2025: PVcase unveils its rebranding as part of its vision for the future of solar energy 4sm1q

From May 7 to 9, Munich, , became the epicenter of innovation and technological advancement in the renewable energy sector. In this context, PVcase found the opportunity to present a key strategic shift in its corporate image: a rebranding that reflects its leadership and commitment to continuous innovation in the solar market. In an exclusive interview with Review Energy, Miguel Herrero — Senior Market Advisor at the company — detailed that this new visual approach is part of a broader vision to address the challenges facing the global solar industry. h3o3b

"Our new branding truly reflects our leadership and our ongoing commitment to innovation within the solar market," said Herrero. PVcase, known for its integrated solar project design platform, has consolidated a global presence, with over 1,500 companies using its tools to design more than one terawatt (TW) of new solar projects each quarter.

The rebranding is not just an aesthetic change, but a response to the current needs and challenges of the sector. "Our new slogan is 'Move Solar Forward.' This stems from deeply listening to our customers over the past seven years, who have told us that many projects don’t come to life due to reasons such as uncertainty about timelines, permits, and market volatility," explained Herrero. This brand renewal is presented as a solution to overcome these obstacles and ensure that more solar projects can move forward, thereby ing the energy transition and global decarbonization.

From design experts to development facilitators

Over nearly a decade, PVcase has been a leader in solar project design. However, as the solar sector expands globally, complexity and risks increase, prompting the company to evolve. "Observing the daily challenges faced by our customers has been a driving force behind this evolution at PVCase. That’s why we have gone beyond design to offer an integrated solar project development platform," explained Herrero. This step demonstrates the company’s commitment to optimizing and simplifying the entire lifecycle of solar projects, reducing friction in the value chain, and increasing the likelihood of success.

Key innovations for the future

In addition to the rebranding, the company took advantage of the event to announce significant advancements in its platform. One of the key innovations is the introduction of the first battery energy storage system (BESS) feature integrated into its ground-mounted systems. "With this feature, our s will be able to design AC-coupled battery systems, enabling them to plan both standalone and hybrid solar systems with storage," noted Herrero. This innovation addresses the growing demand for integrated solar and storage solutions, a trend that is becoming increasingly relevant in the industry.

Similarly, announced a collaboration with Airteam, a leading provider of drone services for the solar industry. Thanks to this partnership, s will be able to import detailed 3D images of commercial and industrial roofs with a single click, optimizing the design process and significantly reducing planning time.

Adapting to the European market and sector consolidation

PVcase has experienced notable growth in Europe, a market that, like globally, is entering a phase of consolidation after years of rapid expansion. "The European market is transitioning from accelerated growth to a consolidation phase. While we continue to grow at a respectable pace, we now face the need to be more efficient and improve our competitiveness," explained Herrero. This transition to more moderate growth underscores the need for companies to adapt quickly in order to maintain their relevance.

The introduction of BESS features directly responds to this new stage in the market. Herrero emphasized that the solar sector is increasingly oriented toward integrating energy storage solutions alongside photovoltaic systems. "The rise of battery energy storage is no coincidence; we know we need more BESS to ensure solar energy continues to function efficiently," he added.

The future of solar energy and storage

The renewable energy sector is undergoing rapid evolution, and the company is at the heart of this transformation. Herrero expressed his excitement for the near future: "I’m really curious to see how this market will evolve in the coming years. It will be interesting to see how integrating solar energy with storage drives the energy transition."

With this new direction, PVcase is ready to face the challenges of the solar industry in Europe and around the world. As Herrero concluded, "We are excited about the future and about seeing how our solutions will continue contributing to the global energy transition."
