AxialTracker SlopeSync: Axial's new bifacial tracker for complex terrains debuts at Intersolar 506h2t
The AxialTracker SlopeSync, a new cutting-edge addition to Axial's portfolio, will be showcased as its focal point at the world-renowned event, Intersolar Europe, 19-21 June in Booth A6-320. This bifilar tracker represents a significant advance in the ability to adapt to complex terrain thanks to its ability to handle variable slopes efficiently. e5t6b
Revolution in civil engineering
What sets the AxialTracker SlopeSync apart is its ability to mitigate the need for civil works, a crucial factor in the solar PV industry. In addition, this innovative tracker, with which Axial is setting an industry benchmark, introduces a significant increase in tolerances during the installation process, which significantly simplifies on-site work and reduces associated costs.
This technological breakthrough builds on the solid foundation of homokinetic technology that the company has perfected over the years, particularly evident in its first twin-row tracker, the AxialTracker Twin, now with the SlopeSync tracker combines the advantages of homokinetic technology with cardan technology along its torque tube for increased hillside adaptation.
2TT technology, synonymous with cutting-edge technology
Axial will also reinforce its leadership in front of the hundreds of attendees with its 2TT tracker technology, which is characterised by an innovative multi-point stiffening system. In this way, the 2TT technology provides an increase in operating speed, which in turn means multiplying the safety and efficiency of the tracker, ensuring maximum product quality.
The geometry of the tracker is perfectly matched to the bifacial technology, in addition to the new total locking technology.
With 2TT technology, the company has consolidated its position in the market. In the first half of 2023 alone, it was awarded more than 250 MW in 2TT projects in Spain, one of its most important markets. This momentum has carried through to the start of 2024, ing a supply of more than 1 GW of this technology in the first quarter of the year.
Solid financial results
The first quarter of the year yielded significant results for the company, with sales exceeding 120 million euros. This milestone, according to CEO Jose Luis Fayos, exceeds all proposed objectives, ‘both in of revenue and in of projects completed and power supplied. And at the start of 2024, we are maintaining the same upward trend. Our customers trust in the quality and safety of our products and in our solvency as a company, and this has enabled us to obtain very solid results".
The company is close to completing a thousand projects in more than forty countries, consolidating its leadership in the sector. In Europe, Axial has demonstrated its strength by supplying solutions to major projects, including the largest PV plant built in the UK to date, and by closing significant deals in Spain, Italy, and Ireland.
Axial has also established itself as a benchmark in the Brazilian market. Axial Brazil, already one of the leading tracker manufacturers in the country, has developed a comprehensive business structure that encomes commercial, engineering and industrial areas. This expansion responds to the need for a permanent presence in the region, considering the dynamic Brazilian market, and reinforces the company's position as the main tracker supplier in the country.
During the new edition of Intersolar Europe, the company will continue to present its extensive experience to the utility market and consolidate its position as one of the industry's benchmarks.
