Innovations for residential and market-specific needs

For residential applications, Astronergy is upgrading its product line with the ASTRO N7s module, specifically designed for balconies. This compact and powerful module outputs 460W with an efficiency of 23.02% and fits an area of approx. 2 square metres. The ASTRO N7s exemplifies a green design ethos, combining high efficiency with aesthetic and functional design tailored for home use.

Further catering to specific market needs, Astronergy has developed the 500W TOPCon ASTRO N5 module, which is designed to meet the unique demands of the French market but is also suitable for other European markets. This product stands out as one of the only two available in the market with such specifications.

Advanced features and design

Among the other new products Astronergy is presenting at Intersolar Europe 2024 is its latest launch, the 500W+ ASTRO N7s module, which incorporates Astronergy's latest TOPCon 4.0 cell technology along with several other advanced features. This includes high transparency double-layer glass and non-destructive cutting technology. The module also employs ZBB-TF technology, which eliminates the busbars and PAD points on the front side, thus enhancing the aesthetic appearance of the module with an all-black aesthetic appearance. This design not only increases light absorption, but also increases the module's power output to a maximum of 515Wp and the maximum cell efficiency reaches 23.1%. In addition, it also reduces the distance between cells, resulting in lightweight and efficient modules, which is one of the products that represent industrial aesthetics and extreme efficiency.

Global expansion and increased production capacity

Astronergy is expanding its global footprint and production capabilities. A new 1 GW manufacturing base in Turkey began construction in April and is expected to be operational by the third quarter. Additionally, the Hangzhou Fuyang Manufacturing Base is set to feature 5GW ZBB product lines.

By the end of 2024, Astronergy plans to boost its production capacity significantly, expecting to reach 65GW in PV cell capacity and 76GW in PV module capacity, with n-type TOPCon technology comprising 91% of the production.
