Astronergy stood out during Intersolar Europe 2025, reaffirming its position as a global leader in solar innovation. The company showcased its latest technological advancements — including the ASTRO N7 and N7s modules featuring TOPCon 5.0 technology and zero busbar (ZBB) cells — and strengthened its presence in Europe through key new partnerships, such as the framework agreement signed with Swedish distributor Aprilice AB. 588
In an exclusive interview with Review Energy, Lin He, Head of Global Sales at Astronergy, explained that this leadership is no coincidence, but rather the result of a solid strategy based on deep local market understanding and a constant evolution of the business model.
“Astronergy started its journey in Europe several years ago. Since then, we’ve built up a strong local presence with teams in , Spain, Italy and Eastern Europe. This structure allows us to understand each country’s policies, tailor our products accordingly and deliver services aligned with each customer’s specific needs,” He said.
From local foundations to full-service provider
A key milestone in this strategy was Astronergy’s acquisition of the German brand Conergy in 2014, which allowed the company to consolidate local operations and differentiate itself from other manufacturers by offering locally sourced products, including through an operational plant in . “This approach enabled us not only to sell modules, but also to develop PV projects directly from within Europe,” he explained.
Building on this foundation of localized presence and long-term commitment to the European market, Astronergy continues to deepen its regional partnerships. At the Intersolar Europe event, the company signed a three-year cooperation agreement with Aprilice AB, one of the leading solar distributors in the Nordic countries. Through this alliance, Astronergy aims to expand its reach in the region and respond to the growing demand for efficient solar solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
One of the key highlights in Intersolar Europe was the presentation of the ASTRO N7 product line along with its recent certifications. The company showcased its ASTRO N7 and N7s modules, which feature its proprietary ZBB technology and the new TOPCon 5.0 generation solar cells. These solutions stand out for their higher efficiency, improved thermal performance, and superior mechanical strength—qualities validated through testing by TÜV NORD and TÜV Rheinland. Additionally, during the event, the company announced the start of a certification process with TÜV Rheinland under the IEC TR 63279 standard, one of the most rigorous for durability and reliability testing.
Strategic expansion and readiness for future challenges
As part of its commitment to strengthening regional supply chains, Astronergy has already launched operations at its solar module factory in Turkey, with a production capacity of 1?GW. This strategic facility brings the company’s technology closer to key markets such as Europe, enabling it to respond more quickly to local demand. Regarding this production capability, He emphasized the importance of a strategic presence in the region:
“Turkey is a strategic location — not only because of its proximity to Europe, but also because CHINT Group, which we are part of, has more than 20 years of operational experience there. This gives us a competitive edge in of logistics, market understanding and fulfilling local content requirements,” He said.
In response to the rapid evolution of the PV sector, the company aims to further consolidate its position in of efficiency, cost, and sustainability, while remaining at the forefront of technological innovation.
“We’ll continue to enhance our TOPCon technology, which is already in its fifth generation, and move toward the sixth and seventh. Despite the current market oversupply, we believe TOPCon will remain dominant for the next two to three years, while other technologies — like HJT or Tandem — still need to prove their long-term reliability,” He noted.
The Head of Global Sales also pointed out that the rise of energy-intensive applications — such as AI data centers — is creating new opportunities for the solar sector. In this context, Astronergy is preparing to respond with integrated solutions:
“We are not just a manufacturer. Our group has experiencex in substations, transmission lines and inverters, which could be the resources for us to learn and develop new business modes. This ability to offer complete solutions allows us to compete not only on cost, but also in of sustainability and efficiency,” the expert explained.
Astronergy’s participation in Intersolar Europe 2025 not only reaffirms its technological leadership but also highlights its commitment to the global energy transition. Through innovation, local adaptation and a comprehensive market vision, the company continues to position itself as a key partner in the journey toward a cleaner, more sustainable future.
