A step forward with new functionalities

RatedPower has focused its growth in the solar industry by creating innovative technology that enables companies to find smarter methods for maximizing the potential of solar photovoltaic plants. The company's latest features of the software are the Power Factor for AC-coupled BESS, the Flexible Schema and the CAPEX Calculations.

The first milestone is the AC-coupled BESS. According to RatedPower, s can now select the inverters or capacitor banks in the AC-coupled BESS to comply with the grid or interconnection requirements at the POI. s have the option to choose between inverters only or inverters plus capacitor banks based on their project requirements.

The second update concerns the Flexible Schema. With this new feature, engineers, consultants, EPCs, and developers gain more flexibility when deg their project's interconnection facilities. s can design multiple interconnection facilities in minutes, control the evacuation capacities to the grid with ease, and include more than one overhead line in their design. These changes will increase the reliability of projects by saving time and money by better controlling the flow of electricity in PV plants.

A third update falls on CAPEX Calculations. The company explains that s now have access to the transmission and distribution line entries in the CAPEX sheets. It is now possible to choose the entries that correspond to the overhead line of the design, enabling a more accurate calculation of the total system price.
