Plug-in hybrid electric vehicle registrations decreased in January 2025 by 8.5% to 61,406 units. This decrease was mainly due to significant reductions in key markets such as Belgium (-66.6%) and (-54%). As a result, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles now for 7.4% of total car sales in the EU.
